The practice classes and projects for the social science and Business Sciences modules take place in this laboratory. Students receive support and advisory services both on a theoretical basis and in the practical realisation of their work.

The business and social sciences laboratory also develops teaching and learning materials for students and for work in advisory, information and training services.

The presentation of academic processes from the entire spectrum of Nutritional, Food and Consumer Sciences and active participation in research projects are further key areas of work.
