A momentous landmark:
400 graduates of the IFBC Master's programme

12 Jun 2025

The International Food Business and Consumer Studies (IFBC) Master's study programme celebrates 400 graduates.

This event underlines the continuing development and popularity of the study programme, which has been attracting students from all over the world for over 20 years. Since the introduction of the programme as a cooperative study programme with the University of Kassel in 2005 and the admission of the first students in 2006, the IFBC programme has produced a large number of international graduates.

The international orientation of the study programme is underlined by the fact that the Master's students come from 55 different nations. This cultural and academic diversity enriches university life and campus life at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. A key success factor is the high number of theses submitted and completed. These reflect the commitment of students and faculty members alike, and cover a wide range of topics in food business and consumer sciences.

The study programme offers the opportunity for international networking and collaboration and opens up prospects for the graduates' professional future. Many of them have taken on interesting positions in enterprises and organisations globally, where they use the knowledge and skills they acquired during their university studies.

We congratulate all 400 graduates on their success and thank them for being ambassadors of the IFBC programme, strengthening the reputation of the Fulda University of Applied Sciences in the international academic and professional world.

Here's to the next 400 graduates and the many exciting projects and careers that lie ahead! Congratulations to our graduates. Here's to your continued success in the future!
