Attitudes towards child nutrition of mothers from families with and without a Turkish migration background

(PhD project)

Qualitative interviews already conducted indicate that contents and terms in the field of child nutrition are not clearly understood by Turkish mothers.

This leads to the assumption that current German-language recommendations are difficult to understand and implement for Turkish mothers or families with a low social status, with and without a Turkish migration background.

The aim of the study is to uncover attitudes of mothers with and without a Turkish migration background towards child nutrition and to gain insights into the ways of accessing information on child nutrition and its relevance.
