ProSeni: Influence of proteins in seniors

In a randomised controlled double-blind study, the effect of protein quantity during weight loss on body composition, resting energy expenditure, physical functioning and relevant blood parameters is investigated in postmenopausal overweight women.

The intervention period is 12 weeks. There will be a follow-up 6 months after the end of the intervention. The study population comprises 54 women aged 50 years and older.
