Study start

Das Bibliothekskonto wird Ihnen als Student*in der Hochschule automatisch eingerichtet. Vor der ersten Benutzung setzen Sie ein Passwort (die E-Mail geht automatisch an Ihre Hochschul E-Mail-Adresse!). Ihre persönliche Ausweisnummer finden Sie auf der Rückseite der Chipkarte.

Nach Ihrer Immatrikulation erhalten Sie per E-Mail Ihre fd-Nummer und das Initialpasswort. Ändern Sie das Initialpasswort schnellstmöglich und beachten Sie die hierzu gegebenen Hinweise.

Die fd-Nummer ist die Benutzerkennung für alle zentralen Dienste der Hochschule. Mit der Nummer können Sie u.a. ...

• Mails zu Ihrer Hochschul-Email-Adresse lesen und schreiben
• sich in das Hochschul-Organisations-System Horstl einloggen
• sich auf der Lernplattform moodle anmelden
• sich im Hochschul- und Fachbereichsnetz anmelden
• sich in das WLAN der Hochschule einloggen

Zusammen mit den Immatrikulationsunterlagen erhalten Sie eine E-Mail-Adresse, i.d.R. vorname.nachname@oe.hs-fulda.de. Mit Ihrer fd-Nummer können Sie Ihre E-Mails über webmail.hs-fulda.de abrufen.

Keine Sorge, wenn es nicht gleich klappt: Nach Erhalt des Schreibens kann es bis zu zwei Wochen dauern, bis die E-Mail-Adresse freigeschaltet ist. Bei Problemen wenden Sie sich per Mail an support(at)rz.hs-fulda.de an das Rechenzentrum.

An diese Email-Adresse erhalten Sie alle verbindlichen Informationen aus der Hochschule und des Fachbereichs. Überprüfen Sie diese daher regelmäßig! Auch Ihre Kommunikation mit den Mitgliedern des Fachbereichs wird ausschließlich über diese E-Mail-Adresse erfolgen.

Loggen Sie sich über horstl.hs-fulda.de in Horstl ein. Der Zugang zu Horstl erfolgt mit Ihrer fd-Nummer. Horstl benötigen Sie unter anderem für:

• Ihre Module belegen (Stundenplan)
• sich zu Prüfungen anmelden
• Ihren Studienverlauf einsehen
• Bescheinigungen erstellen
• Ihre persönlichen Daten aktualisieren
• sich zum Studium zurückmelden

Auf der eLearning-Plattform moodle  finden Sie Informationen zu verschiedenen Themen:

• Kurse mit Informationen und Lehrunterlagen zum Modul
• Rund um´s Studieren (Prüfungen, Ausland, Veranstaltungen, FAQs)
• Praktikum
• Sprechzeiten

Nach der Immatrikulation registrieren Sie sich in moodle (Video).

Nach der Immatrikulation erhalten Sie zusammen mit den Immatrikulationsunterlagen die Aufforderung (per E-Mail), ein Foto für Ihre Chipkarte hochzuladen. Erst nachdem Sie das Foto hochgeladen haben, wird Ihre Chipkarte erstellt und per Post zugeschickt. Weitere Informationen finden Sie online unter hs-fulda.de/chipkarte

Die Chipkarte dient gleichzeitig als Studierendenausweis und als Bibliotheksausweis, kontaktlose Bezahlkarte in der Mensa und Kopierkarte.

The library account is automatically set up for you as a student at the university. Before using it for the first time, set a password (the e-mail will automatically be sent to your university e-mail address!) You will find your personal ID number on the back of the chip card.

After enrolment, you will receive your fd number and initial password by e-mail. Change the initial password as soon as possible and follow the instructions provided.

The fd number is the user ID for all central university services. You can use the number to ...

• read and write emails to your university email address
• log into the university organisation system Horstl
• register on the moodle learning platform
• log in to the university and department network
• log in to the university WLAN

Together with your enrolment documents you will receive an e-mail address, usually vorname.nachname@oe.hs-fulda.de. With your fd number you can send your e-mails via webmail.hs-fulda.de to retrieve your e-mails.

Don't worry if it doesn't work straight away: After receiving the letter, it can take up to two weeks for the e-mail address to be activated. If you have any problems, please send an e-mail to support(at)rz.hs-fulda.de to the computer centre.

You will receive all binding information from the university and the department at this email address. Please check it regularly! Your communication with the members of the department will also take place exclusively via this e-mail address.

Log in via horstl.hs-fulda.de to log in to Horstl. You can access Horstl using your fd number. You need Horstl, among other things, for

• Register for your modules (timetable)
• register for examinations
• view your study progress
• create certificates
• update your personal data
• re-register for your degree programme

On the eLearning platform moodleyou will find information on various topics:

• Courses with information and teaching materials for the module
• All about studying (exams, studying abroad, events, FAQs)

After enrolment, register in moodle (video).

After enrolment, you will receive a request (by e-mail) together with your enrolment documents to upload a photo for your chip card. Only after you have uploaded the photo will your chip card be created and sent to you by post. You can find further information online at hs-fulda.de/chipcard

The chip card is both a student ID card and a semester ticket. It also serves as a library card, contactless payment card in the cafeteria and photocopying card.
