Girls' and Boys' Day is intended to encourage girls and boys to set the course for their professional future beyond traditional role models. Girls get a taste of "typically male" and boys of "typically female" professions.

Fulda University of Applied Sciences would like to introduce boys to study programmes that are currently predominantly studied by women, and girls to study programmes that are predominantly studied by men.

In small working groups, the children and young people can experience how interesting and exciting the work in laboratories, the library or teaching is. Through personal conversations with staff, students and professors, the pupils gain an interesting first insight into studying and broaden their horizons of experience and orientation.
