That's what Michelle says:

My name is Michelle and I come from near Fulda, basically right next door to the university. I've been studying at the university since the winter semester 2024/2025. Initially, I studied applied computer science for two semesters before switching to the social law study programme in winter semester 2025. So I know how difficult it can be to find the right study programme and that you sometimes have to reorient yourself.

That's exactly why I want to encourage other (future) students to go their own way.

What I particularly like about our university is that everything is in one place and you bump into each other from time to time. Fulda also has its advantages as a place to study. Whether it's for a coffee in the city, a drink at sunset at the rooftop bar Karlchen or an excursion into the countryside, the Rhön is easily accessible by public transport.

I like to be creative in my free time: sewing, knitting and crocheting are some of my favourite pastimes. I also enjoy cycling and prefer to spend my holidays on my bike. I am also involved in the Fulda chapter of Arbeiterkind.de to support other students and prospective students on their way to university studies.
