Premises in the Self-Study Centre

Looking for a quiet place to read, write or research? For silent studying, we offer you about 20 individual workstations in the individual study room. This is located directly in the main entrance area of the Self-Study Centre on the left-hand side.

Got group work coming up but there's nowhere on campus to do it?

In the large open learning area there are 11 group work tables with a total of 60 seats for students. Whether you want to study alone or in a group - you are welcome.

Read papers aloud, conduct interviews or collect ideas with the help of the smartboard. The meeting room offers a group workstation for up to 10 people and can be used in a variety of ways. For example, you can conduct interviews for your thesis, give lectures or presentations.

The workshop room, as the name suggests, is mainly used for workshops in which you can participate. You can find the exact programme in the University calendar or here on the website. This room is an exception, as it can neither be used spontaneously nor reserved in advance, as this room is reserved for the business faculty.

There is also the family room, which is managed by the Family Office. If you are looking for a quiet place to breastfeed or change diapers, this is the place for you. You can borrow a key from us (independently of the Family Office) during consultation and lending hours. We would like to point out at this point that this room is intended for "families, educators, breastfeeding and children" and not for studying.

REST...BREAK...RELAXATION...the best comes at the end: the quiet room. Not every university or college can offer something like this. But we can. The quiet room is open daily from 9:00 to 16:00 in a relaxed atmosphere.

With the facilities of the self-study centre, you get the chance to have a place to study and a relaxed atmosphere.
