Kick-off of the 2025 cycling semester

Since 2022, the FahrRad semester has been inviting all university members to pedal - for more exercise and a contribution to climate protection.

In the summer semester of 2025, University Sports and the Sustainability Office will once again be organising the FahrRad semester. You can expect information and repair services on campus, various cycling offers and attendance at the STADTRADELN (from 25 May to 14 June) in Fulda. The campaign kicked off on 14 May with the University Sports, the Sustainability Office and the health insurance provider Techniker Krankenkasse, which offered a wide range of information on health, sustainability and regional cycling offers.

In addition, a bike fitting offer from TK could be booked in advance via the University Sports course programme. During the bike fitting, you could have your bike optimally adjusted to increase your comfort when cycling. The bike coach managed a detailed visual inspection of the bikes and recorded the participants' body measurements in order to optimise the bikes to their individual ergonomic criteria, needs and riding styles.
