Bike hire station on the university campus

"FuldaBike" launched - e-bikes in the city of Fulda

Since 15 May 2025, there has been a new e-bike rental system in Fulda. One of the hire stations is located on the university campus, on Leipziger Straße between buildings 20 and 30.

"FuldaBike" is part of the Fulda mobility strategy "Fulda moves". The aim is to strengthen cycling and link it more effectively with other modes of transport, such as rail transport.

At 5 stations in the city there are now 30 pedelecs and 10 cargo bikes available. A sixth station will follow at the end of the year, bringing the total to 50 bikes.

The system is station-based, but flexible - return is possible at any station.
