DFG project, Foundations of Refugee Research

Research project

The Foundations of Refugee Research research network brings together 14 researchers from five specialised disciplines in an ongoing debate whose aim is to determine the challenges and to establish the key terms and concepts, interdisciplinary nature, theory and practice, negotiation processes and analytical framework, normativity and ethics in refugee research. The network’s objective is, among other things, to establish long-term research structures for sustainable interdisciplinary cooperation in refugee research. Starting in April 2015, the network is being funded by the German Research Foundation for a period of three years.
