The iZT is a central scientific institution of Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
In addition to professors, academic staff, students and alumni, itsmembers are the departments of Applied Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Oecotrophology.
Prof. Dr. Jan-Torsten Milde (spokesperson), Prof. Dr. Tobias Müller and Dr. Rainer Blum are responsible for managing the centre. Further staff are employed mainly on the basis of (research) projects.
The general meeting determines the main focus of the iZT's activities at the annual general meeting.
