Human-Computer Interaction (MCI) deals with the interface between humans and computer-based systems. The focus is on the investigation, design and implementation of user-friendly interactive systems.

The increasing penetration of computers in our lives leads to an increase in complexity in the performance of work, but also everyday activities. In the process, participants are usually engaged in learning tasks that take up valuable life time.

Research into topics within human-computer interaction is intended to improve the usability of computer-based systems in general and ensure usability that is adapted to people.
