
Interdisciplinary networking of researchers at Fulda University of Applied Sciences and professional exchange with actors from the practice of social work, the economy and municipalities were the focus of the symposium "Research for the Ageing Society", organised by the scientific centres CeSSt (Centre for Society and Sustainability) and ZCMK (Centre for Catering, Management and Culinary Arts). Over the two days, around 70 participants discussed the main topics of "Health and Care", "Organisation of Everyday Life", "Participation and Space" as well as "Work and Economy" and how they relate to ageing.
The event was chaired by Prof. Dr. habil. Monika Alisch and Prof. Dr. habil. Martina Ritter (CeSSt) in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Stephanie Hagspihl and Prof. Dr. Claudia Kreipl (ZCMK) and offered, in addition to informative lectures, sufficient space for discussions, the development of new research perspectives and cooperations.
