Review of the information and matchmaking event 'Biosphere Reserve Rhön meets Fulda University' on 2 November 2016
In close cooperation with the administrative office of the Hessian Rhön Biosphere Reserve, the Centre for Society and Sustainability (CeSSt) invited representatives of the Hessian Rhön Biosphere Reserve and staff from research and teaching from all departments to an event.
After the participants were welcomed by the Vice President for Research and Development, Prof. Dr. Steven Lambeck , Torsten Raab, Head of the Hessian Administrative Office of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Rhön, gave aninformative lecture on the development, structure and geo-ecological characteristics of the Biosphere Reserve Rhön and presented current tasks and selected topics .
The participants from Fulda University of Applied Sciences and the biosphere reserve engaged in a variety of discussions, and the first common points of contact and ideas for research and teaching in the presented subject areas were selected.
