Teaching and learning with new media
Computer-based systems have also become indispensable in the area of teaching and learning. Electronic learning platforms are an integral part of university teaching. Teaching and learning materials are made available to learners in multimedia form. Interactive learning success checks make continuous monitoring of the learning process a reality. User interfaces designed to be independent of terminal devices enable location-independent learning. Synchronous communication tools allow even remote participants to take part in interactive group processes.
These and many other possibilities are being researched in theory and practice at the iZT in cooperation with the central e-learning laboratory at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
