With the Association of Friends and Sponsors, we want to support the specialists of tomorrow in their university education in Fulda, inspire them for the region and thus keep them here in the long term. This is why we have been supporting the university and its facilities in research and teaching since our foundation in 2012.

The Deutschlandstipendium scholarship

One half from the federal government, the other half from private sponsors: the sponsorship organisation supports high-achieving and committed students with the Deutschlandstipendium.

Crowdfunding campaign

Small contribution - big impact! With our crowdfunding campaign on VR Bank Fulda's "Partner der Region" platform, we want to make another Deutschlandstipendium scholarship possible.

Ideas competition - The business idea of tomorrow

Whether it's yoghurt made from potato protein or intelligent floor sensors - students can present their product or business ideas at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences ideas competition. We support this!

1 Who is responsible for data processing and who can I contact?

2. For what purpose will my data be processed?
The personal data of members provided in the declaration of membership, in particular name, address and bank details, are collected by the association on the basis of legal entitlement. Your personal data will be treated as confidential and processed exclusively for the purpose of the administration and organisation of your membership and contributions to the association as well as for the management of event management for the management of participant and waiting lists, the sending of invitation, confirmation, reminder and information emails and letters and the internal evaluation of events by the association. Occasionally, the data provided may also be used to compile statistics for internal quality management purposes. However, a reference to your person can no longer be established from these statistics.

3. on what legal basis is my data processed?
For the Förderverein, the legal basics for the processing of your personal data result from Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR for the fulfilment of the association's statutes.

4 Who will receive my data?
The data will only be passed on to third parties if necessary in the context of event management in the case of cooperation as specified above. After the course has been completed, the data will be deleted from the third parties immediately.

5 How long will my data be stored?
Your personal data will be stored by the association for the duration of your membership, unless it must be kept beyond the end of your membership in accordance with tax law requirements.

6 What data protection rights do I have?
Data protection law grants you the following rights: the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for data protection:

7. do I have to provide or update my data?
The provision and updating of your personal data is required for membership of the association. If you do not provide the required information, it will not be possible to become a member of the association.
