Equipment & Software

The Methods Lab Social Sciences offers a modern research infrastructure that supports methodological work at a high level. Researchers have access to software, tools and the latest methodological literature.

Tools:

Mobile eye tracker model Tobii Spark (1x), recording devices (10x Philips VoiceTracer DVT4115), foot switch (2x audiotranscription writing station Science II)

Software:

Programs such as MAXQDA, SPSS, NVivo and MyNetworkMap are available for empirical social research. F4 can be used to transcribe qualitative data.

All available programs can be tested and used for research in room 35.104.

Methodological literature:

In addition to classic handbooks, the Methods Lab Social Science offers an extensive collection of literature on innovative and interdisciplinary methodological approaches to support researchers in the planning and implementation of their projects.
