Activities

The Methods Lab Social Sciences organises a diverse program of research activities that support methodological reflection, exchange and innovation.

Fulda Methods Academy:
The annual Fulda Methods Academy offers research workshops and workshops on quantitative, qualitative, interpretative and mixed methods approaches. It is aimed at researchers and doctoral candidates who wish to obtain specialisation in their methodological competences.

Guest lectures:
Regular presentations by national and international experts provide insights into current methodological developments and offer space for discussion and networking.

Research workshops:
Collaborative groups analyse empirical materials together and reflect on methodological approaches. These formats, which are related to practice, support joint learning and the further development of methodological approaches.

Interdisciplinary workshops:
In cooperation with the doctoral centres and the research centres, interdisciplinary workshops are offered to support interdisciplinary thinking and research.
