Research Hub

The aim of the Research Hub is to research the subject matter of SaFe - relationships between practices of communitisation and future orientations - across all sub-projects. The focus here is on establishing the connectivity of the thematic specialisation to established research structures at Fulda University of Applied Sciences and exchanging ideas with interested stakeholders from research and practice. The work of the Research Hub takes place on three levels.
The Research Hub focuses on organising a multi- and interdisciplinary exchange focused on the topics of the research impulse 'Shaping Future Society' on three levels: 1. between the researchers of the SaFe subprojects. 2. with researchers in established research structures at Fulda University of Applied Sciences and 3. with external stakeholders from academia and practice who are interested in the topic.
Level 1: SaFe research impulse. The Research Hub serves to generate cross-project findings on the relationships between practices of communitisation and future orientations. By focussing on specific research perspectives on the topics of communitisation, the future, transformation and crisis, the subprojects contribute to the project. Initiated by the Research Hub, the exchange between the projects is intended to reveal interfaces, e.g. in the reference to concepts and theories and in results from empirical research. Such syntheses serve overarching and multi-perspective findings of the research impulse.
Level 2: Fulda University of Applied Sciences. The core interest of the research impulse represents the starting point for the collaboration between SaFe and the members of the research structures of Fulda University of Applied Sciences (research centres and alliances, doctoral centres). The identification of thematic interfaces with other researchers and the initiation of joint courses lay the basics for future cooperation in research. The work of the Research Hub aims to further develop the research profile of the University of Applied Sciences 'Quality of Life and Health' through forward-looking research perspectives.
Level 3: Other stakeholders. Cooperation with stakeholders outside the Fulda University of Applied Sciences (e.g. external researchers, research institutions, practical placement partners) focuses on networking the research impulse and the university. Research courses and other interactive formats increase the transdisciplinary connectivity of SaFe findings to discourses from the social sciences and practice. The Research Hub contributes to the visibility and practical transfer of SaFe findings.
