Dr. phil. Christoph Quarch (born 1964 in Düsseldorf), philosopher, theologian and religious scholar, works as a freelance author, publicist, course leader, event organiser and consultant; founder and editor of the magazine "Wir - Menschen im Wandel" (We - People in Change), lecturer at the FH Fulda. From 2000 to 2006 programme director of the German Protestant Kirchentag; from 2006 to 2008 editor-in-chief of "Publik-Forum". Lives with his family in Fulda.

Author and editor of over 25 books, most recently:
