Student Council Social and Cultural Sciences (SK)

Welcome to the page of the student council!

Welcome to the Student Council for Social and Cultural Sciences (SK) at Fulda University of Applied Sciences!

Fulda University of Applied Sciences is divided into departments. Our department is the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences (SK). Each department has a student council (FSR). All students who are involved in university politics and above all want to stand up for the interests of the students in their department can become members of the FSR.

We, the FSR members, are the official student representatives of the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences at Fulda University of Applied Sciences and the direct contact persons for all students of the SK department. We not only represent you in all university committees, such as the Faculty Council (FBR), the Student Parliament (StuPa), the Senate and the Student Council Conference (FSK), but also try to support you in your studies and represent your interests both inside and outside the university.

We are your link to the university management and help to promote dialogue between students and teaching staff.

Whether it's student advice, exam questions, events or information about everyday student life - you'll find answers to your questions here. We also help with the organization of the university days, take care of the first semester welcome and regularly organize cultural events, excursions, workshops and parties to make life at the department varied, to give you the opportunity to get to know other students, network and experience your time at university together.

If you have any university-related questions or personal concerns, we are happy to help and advise you. Our consultation hours, which currently take place every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays alternately from 12 to 1 pm, are particularly suitable for this. You can also leave us a message in the letterbox next to our FSR room. We can then either help you directly, advise you who to turn to next or can mediate between the department and you. We will be happy to help you!

If you would like to join us, just drop by at our next meeting. We always meet on Wednesdays at 13:30 in our FSR room 23.010. If you are interested, you can also simply write us a message or drop by during our office hours. We welcome every new member or anyone who simply wants to join as a guest.

We look forward to seeing you!

To stay up to date, follow us on our social media channels, you can also find all the latest information on our events, consultation hours and offers here on the homepage and on our Instagram profile.

Your Student Council for Social and Cultural Sciences

Our email address is fsr.sk(at)hs-fulda.org. This is intended for direct concerns, problems and questions.

Our area of responsibility (ZB) Coordination is mainly in charge of enquiries by email. For students, lecturers or the Dean's Office, but also for other enquiries and information. Meeting invitations are also written here. So if you would like to come to a meeting and submit an agenda item in advance, it is best to contact this ZB by e-mail.

Our financiers take care of everything for which funds have to be applied for in the FSR. They also prepare calculations and keep track of the FSR's budget.

The ZB Organisation keeps an eye on who is currently a member of the FSR, what is currently pending and takes care of our FSR room.

The ZB FSK and Networking represents us in the FSK - the student association conference. This is primarily about university-wide networking.

The ZB University Policy has contact with all important committees (FBR, Senate, StuPa,...) and organises university elections.

The ZB Kultur und Bildung organises events for you and is also available for people who want to plan a field trip or have an idea for a course, for example.

The Öffis take care of Instagram, this website and everything else that concerns our public image. You can contact us, for example, if you want to pass something on to the students.
