RESEARCH

The Department of Social and Cultural Sciences has traditionally been heavily involved in research and a wide range of practice transfer activities. The activities of the professors and academic employees who teach and conduct research at the department are documented in detail on the respective profile pages of the members of the department in the "About us" section. In addition, research at the department takes place within the framework of larger research projects and institutionalised research contexts. Independent doctoral programmes have been offered since 2016 - for the first time at universities of applied research.
