- 12.03.26, 9:00 a.m. - 19.03.26, 12:00 p.m.
- and (for remaining places): from 31.03.2026, 7:30 a.m.

Choose the upcoming semester.
Open the social and cultural sciences department and then the languages section. Then choose the language you are looking for. A list of the semester's language courses will appear. Choose a language course and click on the course title in blue to find out the details.
Registration for language courses in the summer semester 2026
The language courses on offer for all students will start on 13.04.2026. You can find the course programme in horstl from 12.03.2026 even without user identification and password by clicking on "Show schedule of lectures" under the keyword"Department of Social and Cultural Sciences" and "Languages".
Most of the language courses are face-to-face courses. A small number of courses take place online with video meetings on the course date and Moodle (written tasks). Course participants receive the link to the video meeting from the instructors and are automatically registered as participants in the Moodle course when they register via horstl.

You will need your fd number and the corresponding password to take a course.
Information for non-registered students:
Non-registered students use the online form on the page for "non-registered students" and enter the desired course title from the schedule of lectures. Please do not register until the schedule of lectures is online and you have the necessary information on courses and dates.
German courses at the International Office of HS Fulda
- Intensive German courses from beginner level up to level C1 (DSH) are offered by the International Office of Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
- Digital bridge courses German B1.2 and German B2.2 in March/April 2026 for participants at level B1 or B2 as a refresher.

As a member of the European University Alliance E³UDRES², students and employees of Fulda University of Applied Sciences have access to a selection of language courses from partner universities in addition to the offers of the language centre. The courses (mostly suitable for beginners) are offered in Latvian, Dutch, Portuguese, German, Ukrainian, Finnish, English and possibly other languages.
The courses are held exclusively online and mostly synchronised. The duration, number of ECTS credits and SWS as well as the application deadlines vary depending on the course. The first deadlines are in January 2026. ECTS credits awarded by the partner universities can be recognised after consultation with the coordinators for international affairs in the relevant department.
