Our research projects are designed in such a way that content, methods and findings can be directly incorporated into the training of students at Bachelor's and Master's degree level.
The doctoral research centre organises doctoral procedures in the discipline of social work, advises on all matters relating to doctoral degrees and supports junior researchers through a qualification programme with workshops and conferences on theories, current challenges and research methods in social work.
Internationality, student exchange and active participation with international visiting lecturers are important topics for the Department of Social Work. We have more than 25 cooperations with European and non-European universities where our students can study for one or two semesters.
