The Student Representative Council (FSR) is the elected representation of the student body, which includes all students of the department.

The FSR SW sees itself as the "mouthpiece" of the student body (all students of the Department of Social Studies). We accept suggestions, criticism or problems of any kind, discuss them discreetly in our meetings and try to help.

The student councils of the respective departments represent the "lowest" and thus most direct level of student representation at Fulda University. On the one hand, this enables close contact to the students as well as to professors, lecturers and university staff of the department.

Furthermore, the FSR SW is in contact with all university committees "above" it: The Departmental Council (FBR), the Student Parliament (StuPa), Senate, the Student Council Conference (FSK) and the AstA.

In addition, the FSR SW organises parties, the representation of the department at events such as "Open Day", the University Days, the introductory week for first-year students and much more. The tasks of the FSR are diverse and varied.
