There is a great need for dual and part-time study opportunities in the field of social organisations (e.g. social economy, social management) because, among other things, professional work with job-seeking people or people in difficult life situations requires broad interdisciplinary knowledge (e.g. from the fields of psychology, health science, social and cultural sciences or economics) and, in particular, in-depth legal competences as well as regional or national labour market knowledge. In addition, the legal framework conditions, which are constantly subject to legislative changes such as the further development of the law in the area of the social security codes, require regular updating of competences.
The study programme is aimed at all persons who want to professionally advise and support people in difficult life situations, in questions of unemployment, gainful employment, social security as well as vocational training. Among other things, students are enabled to analyse and reflect on a variety of topics and problems related to the world of work, questions of labour market-related and social participation opportunities or offers of psychosocial counselling, health promotion or in the field of case management in a scientifically sound manner and to design and further develop them in a practice-oriented manner.
The degree programme offers an innovative study opportunity in the field of social administration - with a focus on designing/improving labour market-related and social participation opportunities and a focus on municipal social administration - for adualas well as part-time studies.
