My semester abroad
"I was lucky enough to do my Erasmus in the wonderful Czech city of Brno. Although it is the second largest city in the Czech Republic and it is located in our neighbouring country, at least people know about its existence and its possibilities.
In addition to its exciting history, the city also has a good range of cultural and leisure activities to offer and, especially in summer, goes to great lengths with various events, markets, festivals and lovely details. Thanks to the city's great location, it's easy to make day trips to Bratislava and Vienna and enjoy Krakow, Prague and Budapest for a weekend!
During my B.A. studies in Social Work at Masaryk University, I was able to get to know the social and pedagogical faculties, where super nice and helpful staff and lecturers work. Overall, there is very good cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Fulda and therefore there are no problems with the recognition of examination results.
So, it's not only worth going to Brno for the good beer! The warm and great student city offers a great Erasmus experience in its entirety!"
