The format "Inclusive teaching-learning settings: students and people with disabilities in university seminars" received the award as one of the best submissions from the Hessian universities that made it to the final round. It brings together social work students and people with a disability as equal partners in learning and research project teams. The teaching format is particularly characterised by role reversal and perspective-taking, as well as being related to practice and transferability.
The university prize, donated by the state of Hesse, honours exceptional social services: benefits in the areas of teaching, examination, advisory services and supervision at universities in Hesse. At Fulda University of Applied Sciences, a total of three submissions from the departments of Health Sciences, Social Work and Business were awarded a certificate, which was presented by the Vice-President for Learning and Teaching and Digitisation, Prof. Dr Jörg Kreiker.
