Our research projects

Our research projects

Research in and about the fields of work and problems of social work means answers to current socio-political questions and discourses on the professional challenges of social work.

The researchers in the department are successful with research projects that transfer scientific findings into concrete practical knowledge for action. This is done through third-party funded research projects at national and European level, projects with practice partners from the region as well as cooperation with other universities.

The research projects are designed in such a way that the content, methods and findings can be directly incorporated into the education of students at Bachelor's and Master's level.

In the Master's programme, students are given the opportunity to carry out their own practical research projects in conjunction with third-party funded projects.
