Counselling and therapy
Topics
Counselling is a subject area that unites various traditions and schools and extends across different areas of theory, science and practice. Counselling processes are central elements of successful support and assistance in many fields of social work activity. While there is a large amount and range of studies on the effectiveness of therapeutic approaches, research on the practical application of counselling skills in social work fields is much rarer. In order to adequately research the effectiveness, mode of action and sustainability of counselling processes in the relevant fields of practice, it makes sense to combine quantitative and qualitative research approaches.
