What does a scholarship offer?
- financial security or support (up to 670€/month + book allowance)
- idealistic support
- Contacts and networking in the support network (e.g. mentors, liaison lecturers, other scholarship holders, alumni network)
- Individual supervision and support during your studies and when starting your career
- Seminars, conferences, training courses
- Special financial support for stays abroad
Who is supported?
- Those who perform well at school and in their studies
But also:
- Anyone who is socially engaged, e.g. politically or in a religious community.
- Whoever overcomes special challenges in their own educational path, as a child of non-academics, due to a migration background, as a female student, due to a chronic illness or disability, for example.
The eligibility criteria depend on the respective scholarship programme. In addition to the thirteen large scholarship programmes, there are many other small scholarship programmes that support students in special circumstances, for example.
