Dear first-semester students,

As your degree programme coordinator, I would like to welcome you to the dual Bachelor's degree programme in Social Work.

Below you will find initial information about the winter semester 2025/2026.

The start of your studies and the introductory days will take place on 10 and 11 October 2025 and form the "prelude", so to speak, to your studies at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. In addition to getting to know each other, the presentation of the degree programme concept and the introduction to academic work will be essential components of the weekend.

Please come to room 023 in building 21 on Friday, 10 October 2025 at 9 am.

You will receive further preparatory information in the coming weeks:

- Information about your university email address
- Sending of the user ID for the online learning platform OLAT
- Free use of Microsoft Office 365

For your planning, you will receive the dates for the winter semester 2025/26 and the overall study schedule in advance. You will be allocated to one of the two study groups; you will receive information about your allocation before the start of the programme.

Some of you will need overnight accommodation at the weekends. Enclosed you will find an overview of recommended accommodation.
