Writing Lab | Our Principles

  1. The aim of counselling is to encourage writers to mobilise their own strengths and to exploit and develop their own resources. In order to create an equal footing between the writer and the counsellor, we strive to provide counselling in a predominantly non-directive way.
  2. We do not proofread texts. However, we do support native and non-native writers in strengthening their proofreading, grammar and spelling skills.
  3. When we give feedback on texts, it can have an impact on the content. However, we do not tell writers what to write. The responsibility for their texts lies with the writers.
  4. The writing workshop team treats information and data from consultations confidentially.
  5. The consultants of the writing workshop continuously participate in super- and intervision
