Welcome to the Department of Applied Computer Science at Fulda University of Applied Sciences! This is where you will find information for all students beginning their study programmes in the summer semester 2023.

Getting started

We would like to welcome our new students of the following programmes:

M. Sc. Applied Computer Science
M. Sc. Global Software Development
Applicants for advanced semesters
Exchange students

Our induction events will be placed the the university and will be avaible via online presentation (hybrid). Further we offer online consultation hours.
The induction event for following both studies will at the start of the first week of lectures, 11th - 17 th April 2023. Exact date will be announced.

Your timetable

The schedule of lectures will be published on Wednesday, 8^th March 2023 - which is available here.

REGARD: You may already compile your timetable from the period from
09^th to 16^th March 2023, 11.59 am.
Afterwards your personal timetable will be build. Please register for the modules in this period to get your desired date!

Bachelor's programme - Your timetable

You may compile your timetable in the period from 09^th(9am) to 16^th March 2023 (11.59 am). Afterwards your personal timetable will be allocated. You need to sign in to horstl with your user id (fd-number) and password. Please register for the modules in this period to get your desired date!

You will be informed via "Schwarzes Brett" (moodle) as soon as your personal timetable is allocated. This will be prospectively from 17^th March 2023. The lectures start on Tuesday, 11^th April 2023.

the modules of the timetable are arranged by group priority, in other words students choose their desired dates via group priority
From 27^th March 2023, 9.00 am the students can register for vacant seats in lectures. Here the principle "first come first serve" applies.
Registration ends on 23.04.23 (23.59 h).
