Catching up with...

During the "biofach 2018" fair Helga Keil, IFBC programme coordinator at Fulda University of Applied Sciences caught up with three IFBC alumni - find out more about all the IFBC alumni she has met in Nuremberg and learn about what they are up to since they have left the IFBC universities.

I graduated in 2012 from the IFBC and luckily right afterwards I got a position as trainee in the german national programme SÖL (Stiftung Ökologie & Landbau) at IMO - Institut für Marktökologie GmbH in Konstanz.

After my trainee time I remained in the company within the Social and Fair Trade Department. Since the beginning of 2017 I took over the responsibility as Certification Operations Manager at the same department where I take care of the smooth certification process of all our certified projects.

I am Jigish Shah from Vadodara, India. As IFBC graduate I finished in December 2016.

My time in Kassel and Fulda was very productive and utilised in learning in detail about the European organic food regulations, latest food trends, new business opportunities and creating long lasting business contacts.

Currently I am the head the New Business Development department of my company AUMFRESH which is into manufacturing of Freeze Dried and Cold Dried™ organic herbs, seasonings, fruits, veggies and flowers. I look after the European bulk market and cater to tailor-made needs of consumers.

Nach Abschluss des IFBC in 2011 arbeitete ich für ein Jahr in London als Account Manager bei einem großen Zulieferer/Händler von Rohstoffen und Lebensmittelzutaten (Saaten, Vitamine, Aromen, Säfte, etc.).

Seit 2013 arbeite ich im Vertrieb der Ceralia Getreideprodukte GmbH in Mühldorf am Inn, ein mittelständischer familiengeführter Betrieb, der sich auf die Abpackung von Bio Getreide- und anderen Trockenprodukten in Endverbraucherverpackungen für Private Label spezialisiert hat. Es macht mir jeden Tag große Freude, unsere Kunden aus dem Lebensmittelhandel sowie von namhaften Bio Marken zu betreuen und Neuprodukte von der Produktidee bis hin zur Auslieferung an die Märkte zu begleiten.
