The Social and Cultural Sciences Department offers the following programmes.

Other offerings available to all students at the University
Learning languages
As part of the Social and Cultural Sciences Department, the Language Centre offers a comprehensive foreign language programme with courses in 15 languages, which are available to all students at the University. International students can sign up for intensive German language courses in preparation for their studies or improve language skills during their study programme.
Academic writing
The Writing Lab is open to all students at the University. You can find out how to write scholarly and academic papers either in one-on-one sessions or in workshops.
European Language Certificate and International Studies
Find out more about Europe and the institutions of the EU and meet international students in the "International Studies" programme which is taught in English. Our Department offers these and other services.
