Prof Dr Frank Unger
Professorship in the field of personnel leadership and management, personnel and organisational development (Fulda University of Applied Sciences). Trainer and coach of managers with specialisations in motivational leadership & communication, challenging management and discussion situations, design of change and team development processes.
Dr Markus Reimann
University studies in law and business psychology, certified training in motivational interviewing, systemic coaching and project management, resilience, Innovation Master, Remote Innovation Facilitator and Agile Coach.
The continuing education programme consists of three modules. Each module extends over a period of approx. 4 weeks and comprises a workload of approx. 50 hours.
Classroom-based events are alternated with online study phases. In each module, we offer you the opportunity to reflect in depth on your individual concerns on the topic of management in individual coaching sessions or in the form of a management consultation.
You create a learning diary during the online programme. You work flexibly and in a self-organised manner with the support of the seminar leader.
In particular, working on complex "real" cases will be the centrepiece of your participation in the course. Individually or in small virtual working groups, you will apply your knowledge in case processing, develop your own solution strategies or, similar to a peer advisory service, develop well-founded professional feedback on your fellow students' solution approaches.
Baustein 1: Führungspersönlichkeit und Führungsverhalten
In Baustein 1 befassen Sie sich mit den Grundlagen des Führungserfolgs. Hierzu gehören
- Führungsziele, -aufgaben und -wirkung
- Führungsinstrumente wirksam einsetzen
- Führung der Zukunft - Zukunft der Führung: Perspektive der Personalführung in der Arbeitswelt 4.0
- Die Bedeutung von Beziehungsgestaltung, Motivation, Werten und Kultur für gelingende Zusammenarbeit und die Förderung von Performance, Zufriedenheit und Bindung
- Selbstführung, Gesundheit und Selbstfürsorge.

Baustein 3: Gute Führung ist gute Kommunikation
In Baustein 3 steht die Stärkung Ihrer kommunikativen Kompetenz im Mittelpunkt.
- Spezifische kommunikative Führungsherausforderungen in sozialen Organisationen, in Bildungseinrichtungen und der öffentlichen Verwaltung
- Mitarbeiter*innengespräche planen und führen
- Mit anspruchsvollen Führungssituationen professionell umgehen und "herausfordernde" Gespräche führen
- Grundlagen der Motivierenden Führungskommunikation (Motivational Interviewing für Führungskräfte)
- Führen auf Distanz / Virtual Leadership
Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme an Baustein 3 ist die vorherige Teilnahme an Baustein 1 + Baustein 2.

Alle Bausteine sind einzeln buchbar. Sie umfassen jeweils den gleichen Umfang und unterscheiden sich bei Einzelbuchung nicht in der Höhe des Teilnahmeentgelts.
Bei der direkten Buchung aller drei Bausteine betragen die Gesamtkosten 1.940,00 €.
Die Belegung von Baustein 3 setzt die Teilnahme an den Bausteinen 1 und 2 voraus.
Bei Buchung aller drei Bausteine haben Sie die Option, eine Abschlussarbeit zu schreiben. Für diese müssen Sie sich extra anmelden, es entstehen keine zusätzlichen Kosten. Die Anmeldung erfolgt während des laufenden Kurses. Weitere Informationen finden Sie unter dem Punkt Abschluss.
- For managers with personnel responsibility, e.g. in a social organisation, in an educational institution or in public administration
- For people who work in human resources development and have an influence on the strategic direction of leadership development in their organisation
- For people who lead a team without authority, e.g. in lateral leadership situations or in an honourary office
- For people who aspire to a management position or already have initial management experience
Fulda University of Applied Sciences will award you a university certificate with 5 ECTS credits if
- you have regularly attended and participated in all three modules (written assignment of the case studies),
- have presented your learning diary in one of the face-to-face sessions,
- have written a 12 - 15 page thesis
- and have managed a final discussion with the seminar leader.
If you have attended individual modules, we will issue a certificate of attendance.
