Versatile use: Wherever the success of conversations is concerned, motivational interviewing provides a wide range of tools that can be used, for example in a management context, in education, coaching or advisory services.
Motivational interviewing according to Miller & Rollnick, or MI for short, is considered to be very helpful and extremely effective when it comes to dealing with resistance and ambivalence more flexibly and effectively. The aim of MI is for people to bring up the topic of change on their own, based on their own values and interests, and to develop a willingness to change.
In this continuing education course, the content of Motivational Interviewing is supplemented by relevant aspects from social psychology, neuroscience and behavioural therapy. From the importance of relationship building for successful human interactions to effective communication techniques, you will acquire valuable skills for your professional and private environment in this continuing education programme. Practice classes tailored to everyday working life ensure a high didactic quality.
