This digital learning path enables you to independently develop an overview of the German social security system.
Social benefit organisations and the social benefits they provide are first presented in an overview. This will give you an understanding of who is in charge and how the various organisations and their services: benefits interact in social work case constellations. Particularly relevant areas, such as health or nursing care insurance and rehabilitation and participation law, are dealt with in specialisation, as are the basic subsistence benefits according to SGB XII.
The workload of this learning pathway comprises at least 40 teaching units and fulfils the admission requirement for DGCC-certified continuing education in case management.

Digital learning path means:
After your registration you will receive access data to the electronic e-learning platform of the Fulda University of Applied Sciences (moodle). This access data is valid for 45 days. During this time, you can use the learning path as often as you like.
To start with, you will gain a basic overview and an introduction to social law. You will then choose two specialisation areas from the above-mentioned topics, work on the study texts and exclude them by completing the submission tasks. The learning path mentor will check your answers promptly and give you brief feedback. Finally, we will send you a confirmation of participation.
