NEW: TRANSFERWERKSTATT STREETWORK

The Streetwork Transfer Workshop harnesses the diversity of perspectives and resources of all participants and creates space for exchange and individual skills development.

In our innovative format, professionals from the field of street work / mobile youth work meet social work students. At the end of their Bachelor's degree, university studies take a course in the advanced module Streetwork. They acquire a wide range of new specialised knowledge. The professionals have practical experience with their theoretical backgrounds or have just entered the field of work.

What we offer you:

  1. Interactive and dialogue-oriented seminar design: We work with current adult education methods and procedures.

  2. Multi-professional management team: Two street work specialists and two instructors from Fulda University of Applied Sciences offer interdisciplinary facilitation with a wide range of impulses.

  3. Unique mix of professionals and students: All participants have the opportunity to contribute knowledge and resources, offer current topics for discussion and take on the role of both expert and learner.

  4. Workshop format: Our focus is on democratic learning, human rights orientation, participation, empowerment and resource orientation - common dimensions of power in teaching, continuing education and social work practice are put up for discussion, learning from each other takes centre stage.

* e.g. prepared impulses, leading a working group or active participation in the documentation.
