You are welcome to bring "your own" practical placement partner. Do you know an enterprise or institution from an internship, through your training or through private contacts that is not yet in cooperation with us? Don't hesitate to give us a call, we are open to new partnerships.
How can I apply for a dual study programme?
To apply for a place on a dual study programme, you first need an employment or learning agreement with a practical placement partner. As a first step, please send your application to one of the cooperation partners listed in the overview or to another enterprise of your choice.
After completing the learning agreement, please use the applicant portal horstl to upload the required documents for your application for a dual study programme. If you fulfil the formal conditions for admission to a university degree programme, you will then be admitted to university studies at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
If you have any questions about the subject or content of the programmes offered, you can contact the academic adviser for your chosen study programme directly. You can find the contact details for each study programme in our study programme database.

Tips for finding the right practical placement partner
Ideally, you should start looking for a practical placement partner for the dual study programme one year before the start of programme. However, it is of course still possible to find a place after that.
For your research, use our university practice partner lists, job exchanges, university fairs, the area search on Google Maps and ask friends and acquaintances.
Prepare your application documents carefully.
Prepare yourself for the interview: Find out exactly what you need to know about the enterprise.
Prepare possible questions such as "Where do you see yourself after university studies?" or "How would you describe your dream job?" and answer them for yourself so that your answers are fluent and coherent.
