Looking to boost your knowledge? Whether you want to refresh your expertise or simply get a taste of university life: You are very welcome as a guest student! You do not need a university entrance qualification to participate.

Application for guest student status

Do guest students receive a student ID card and/or a semester ticket?

Guest students are not enrolled as regular students, so there is no student status and no semester ticket. Instead, guest students receive a special university ID card. This allows you to use the university and state library and eat in the cafeteria at guest prices. This card is valid for one semester.

How much does a guest student programme cost?

The fees for guest students are 100,00 EUR per semester, regardless of the number of courses you wish to attend.

Can guest students take part in examinations?

No. You are not entitled to take module examinations.
