In the Master's programme Vocational Education in Health, students deepen their knowledge of vocational education and specialised knowledge and are qualified to teach the subject of health at different types of schools.
The study programme builds on the Bachelor's programme in Vocational Education in Health and is offered in cooperation with the University of Kassel. In addition to the "classic" variant, which opens the door to the second phase of teacher training (the period of practical training) and concludes with a Master of Education, there is also the option of taking the second subject Nursing from the Bachelor's degree and obtaining a Master of Arts at the end of university studies.

The Master of Education forms the professional basics for teaching appointments at professional schools with health as a subject. The degree enables entry into the second phase of teacher training, the school preparatory service period (period of practical training).

With the Master of Arts, it is possible to teach at schools in the health system, in particular at vocational training colleges for nursing professions, or in further and continuing education in the health system.
