The dual degree programme in Business Administration combines theory and practice and takes place at two locations – at the university and within a company. Alternating between three-month periods at the university and in the company, this six-semester programme teaches you to solve business administration problems both theoretically and in practice.
During the university phases, you will undertake four business administration modules with practical applications each semester. You will benefit from the wealth of practical experience and theoretical knowledge of the lecturers at Fulda University of Applied Sciences and from the business world. In addition to traditional business administration content, you will acquire important soft skills such as intercultural and holistic thinking, sustainable practices, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
During the work placements, you will apply your knowledge directly within a company. As part of a work placement module, you will write an academic report demonstrating the practical relevance of your work and your analytical skills.
In addition, the programme offers you the opportunity to explore your individual interests in greater depth. Choose two specialisation subjects from areas such as finance, accounting, marketing, human resources management or sustainability, and specialise specifically in your chosen field.
The programme concludes in the sixth semester with the Bachelor’s thesis. You also have the option of studying abroad to gain international experience.
The process for applicants wishing to start with a partner organisation is as follows: Firstly, you apply directly to one or more companies and, in most cases, undergo a selection process there. Once you have successfully completed this process, you will sign a study contract with the industry partner regarding the joint delivery of the dual degree programme. Following the signing of the contract, you will apply for the ‘Business Administration – dual’ degree programme at Fulda University of Applied Sciences as part of the admissions process.
