Health problems such as pandemics, conflicts and non-transferable diseases connect countries in global health challenges. We need experts to overcome the difficulties and prepare health organisations for the changes and advantages of globalisation.
The Global Health study programme will provide you with knowledge of how various factors such as politics, society, business and the environment affect global health.
The study programme offers various opportunities such as international internships, period abroad, research and supervision by experienced professors. The main objective of the program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to become future leaders in global health. This program aims to prepare students to become future leaders in global health.
Are you passionate about making your contribution to global health? With the Bachelor's programme in Global Health, you have the opportunity to turn your enthusiasm into your career. The study schedule is designed to critically examine health inequalities and identify funding options for global health equity. With university studies in Fulda, you will learn to navigate the dynamic world of global health.
It is a full-time studies programme on campus that extends over seven semesters and comprises 210 ECTS credits.
Students with a German university entrance qualification must complete a semester abroad in the 4th semester. Students with a non-German university entrance qualification can study abroad for one semester or take a course at Fulda University of Applied Sciences or another German university.
In the 5th and 6th semesters, students take part in a cross-semester course project. This project offers them the opportunity to use their knowledge in practice. In the seventh semester, all students must complete a compulsory internship.
It should be noted that the "Welcome Week" is compulsory and forms part of one of the modules in the first semester. In order to receive credits for this module, students must therefore attend at least 80% of the Welcome Week. The Welcome Week is expected to take place in the second week of April. Students will receive all the necessary information upon admission.

A Bachelor's degree in Global Health prepares you for a career in international development, the health system or global enterprises. You can complete further university studies, e.g. a Master's in Public Health.
