Qualification
The university studies qualify students for management positions and assistant management.

In the part-time Social Work BASA-online Bachelor's degree programme, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to recognise the need for action in practice, reflect on it, justify it, plan appropriate interventions and offers and evaluate them in terms of their impact. You will also acquire research, preventative, interventional and aftercare working methods. The university studies qualify you for management functions as well as assistant management and for coordinating, planning and evaluating tasks.
The part-time social work study programme offers an undergraduate offer to study social work online. It is a family-friendly study programme that provides for ten days of attendance at the university per semester and also organises study time at home via an e-learning platform.
BASA-online is aimed at prospective students who are already working in the field of social work and would like to acquire an internationally recognised academic degree as a social worker/social pedagogue on a part-time basis.
BASA-online consistently focuses on the use of new library items as a learning and teaching medium and thus enables the training of a professional approach to new information and communication technology, which is a defining feature of today's and tomorrow's workplace design. The programmes offered are designed in such a way that an accompanying reflection on one's own occupation is integrated. The university studies emphasise the aspect of self-directed learning and thus support an essential component of the required key qualifications.
BASA-online is studied on a part-time basis using the blended learning concept. This is a combination of face-to-face events on one weekend per month (Friday and Saturday) and online-supported e-learning via an e-learning platform. The weekly time needed for university studies is approximately 20 to 25 hours. The e-learning modules make it possible to study largely independent of time and place.
