The primary goal of gender monitoring is the regular and systematic evaluation of gender-differentiated data and statistics, which enables long-term observation of processes initiated by gender equality measures.
The evaluations provide a gender equality-oriented statistical snapshot, which form a continuous series of evaluations within the framework of a concept-based gender monitoring.
In the process, various statistics from Fulda University of Applied Sciences are brought together. In addition to data from the student statistics, statistics on staff and doctoral students are evaluated. These can be used by departments, central institutions and the central administration to track developments and take a differentiated look at strengths and weaknesses in their areas in order to derive targets and review them.
It also forms an important basis for the development of measures to promote gender equality, which are being jointly developed by the "Equal Opportunities and Diversity" office and the departments as part of the “Gender Consulting for Departments” project.
The evaluation takes place every two years. The data is prepared in a transparent and comparable manner so that a data series can be mapped.
