For instructors: Enhancing teaching

"Successful management of cultural diversity" involves encompassing a culture reflexive approach in learning and instruction. Such an approach requires consideration of the various cultural backgrounds and academic requirements of the students, need-based guidance of students and designing lectures to address students' heterogeneous academic cultures. A number of facilties are available to educators would meet the demands of culturally diverse  instruction requirements or the demands of the faculty.

  • Professionally led trainings or workshops to enhance culture reflexive competence and a "culture reflexive approach"

  • Cocreating strategies in group or individual consultation settings to foster a "culture reflexive approach" in instruction

  • "Coffee and Chat" informal gatherings for peer consultation and discussions- either within the departments or across departments - regarding didactic concepts and measures for effectively resolving individual case studies

  • Development of concepts and strategies for culture reflexive initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of instruction

  • Individual coaching on dealing with culturally different groups and students' learning behaviour

  • Personalised case counselling for addressing and resolving individual cases

Different formats

Depending on your time and needs, you can choose the time and format for each option:

  • Intensive workshops or trainings (1 - 2 days)

  • Workshops in small groups (2 - 4 hours)

  • Coaching or individual counselling - by appointment

  • Digital workshops and peer counselling
