The tasks in this area are extremely varied.

The team, consisting of administrative staff and caretakers, works together to ensure that the rooms, buildings and outdoor facilities are available for the appropriate uses.

In addition to room, key and locking media management, building cleaning, winter services, security and removals are organised from here.

Event management supports the planning and implementation of events. Advertising and merchandise sales are also handled here.

This department provides the services that guarantee proper, trouble-free, efficient and energy-optimised operation.

The diverse technical facilities are monitored, operated and controlled from here. The tasks also include the maintenance and improvement of the facilities.

Another focus is the comprehensive documentation of the existing technical and structural facilities and their operation, e.g. the recurring inspections, as well as ensuring that they are carried out regularly. In addition, all planning documents, e.g. floor plans of the buildings, are processed in the department.

The tasks also include overall energy management, occupational health and safety, waste disposal and the organisation of fire protection and first aid.

In addition to structural development planning, the Construction Management Department is responsible for planning and implementing fundamental renovations as well as conversion and expansion measures, which also result from research projects and third-party funding. The Construction Management team is also responsible for building maintenance measures and for the upkeep of the outdoor facilities.
